Produced in collaboration with Vestaron and BBC StoryWorks, this short film follows orchard operations manager Keith Veselka in Washington’s apple country as he confronts the growing challenges of pest control, climate extremes, and shrinking access to effective tools in modern agriculture.

Through interviews with Veselka and Vestaron leadership — including CEO Anna Rath and Chief Scientific Officer Bob Kennedy — the story explores how peptide-based crop protection, derived from spider venom and refined through biotechnology, is helping growers protect their crops with less environmental impact and no compromise on efficacy.

As part of Goodfellow’s work in agriculture and biotech video production, this film illustrates how innovation, persistence, and sustainability can come together in the fight to feed a growing population while caring for the land and future generations.
